Spring Fever:

The days are getting longer and warmer, and Spring will be upon us soon! If you are a Pocono resident who enjoys to hike, fish, or hunt, and have a digital camera, we want your feedback. Just snap some photos of your favorite spot(s) in the Poconos, add a description with directions, then email us. We will review your submission for accuracy, and add it to the website.

Promised Land State Park

Promised Land contains over 3,000 acres, surrounded by 12,000 acres of Delaware State Forest. The 420 acre Promised Lake, and the smaller lower lake provide some of the Pocono Mountains' best fishing opportunities. Note that the lower lake is stocked with trout. Other things to do include Horseback riding, camping, boating, swimming, hiking, hunting, and more.
