Brady's Lake

Almost written off the books when the 100 year old dam was declared dangerous, this lake was saved by protests to Governor Rendell. It will supposedly be open in 2007, but we're not holding our breath. Before the State drained half of the lake for dam construction, fisherman reaped bountiful benefits. We hope that once it is rebuilt, Brady's Lake will provide the same great fishing for years to come! There is also a nice trail that goes around the entire lake for the wandering fisherperson to roam.

HOW TO GET THERE: Entrance to the lake is located just west of Pocono Lake on the north side of route 940. Blink and you'll miss it.
